From a company as large as the Budapest Waterworks which is the only provider in a given area it is expected – especially from public utility service providers – by both institutional and public consumers that in addition to the high service level also act also act in the public interest. This is reflected in the hundreds of letters asking for support.

At the same time as a public service provider it is very important to find the balance, as it inevitably poses the idea in the consumers that all this is covered by their water fee. Therefore during our support policy development we focused on that our principles to be well justified and transparent.
