Based on third party orders the laboratory of Budapest Waterworks performs accredited sampling and water tests, assessment of bathwater samples.
In case you or your company operate a public swimming pool, you must comply with the operating and public health requirements specified by the NM Decree No. 37/1996 (X.18.) of the Ministry of Social Welfare. The regulation prescribes limit values for the water of the continuously purified, sterilised water of the swimming pools and also for the purified and recycled water. Compliance with the regulations may only be ensured through regular water tests. Our laboratory offers accredited, artificial sampling of bath water, performs tests and provides evaluation of the results.
In the course of using swimming pools and jacuzzis, decontaminating agents and additives (e.g. algicides, flocculants, pH reducers etc.) must be applied in a way that ensures they do not lead to health being damaged.
To ensure the safe and carefree use of the pool, monitoring and periodically analysing the microbiological and chemical components of the water is recommended. We are happy to offer suggestions regarding the parameters to be examined, taking the water treatment process you use into account.
